HELP R HEROES was founded in 2021 by a group of veterans who served in Vietnam and Afghanistan who recognized the need for a local organization dedicated to helping veterans in need!
We are A 501(c)3 non-profit Nevada Charity
A Veteran is someone, who, at one time in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to the people of our United States for an amount of "Up to and including his or her life..." That is a hero!

Every Veteran who has risked their life to protect our country and all of us who
live in it deserves our help when they are in need. We can renew their hope, strengthen their self-worth, and nurture their independence. Your donations help veterans in crisis by teaching them to manufacture and market artisanal
merchandise including but not limited to wood furniture and home décor, candles, designer soaps, fashion jewelry, and quilting.
You can be proud of the impact your donation makes.

Your donation will help us to continue our mission of supporting our community. Every dollar counts.
It will make a difference in the lives of those we serve:
“You can give a person a fish and they will eat for a day… you can train a person to fish, and they will eat for a lifetime!”
We host a variety of events throughout the year, including fundraisers, community outreach events, and educational seminars.
We're always looking for new partners to collaborate with on projects and events. If your organization shares our values and mission, let's work together to make a positive impact.
Help us raise awareness of our mission and programs by sharing our website, social media pages, and events with your friends, family, and colleagues.

When you donate a minimum of $10.00, while they last, we will send you this free gift. A beautiful "Help R Heros" designer coin! Please add your shipping address in the Notes if your donation is at least $10.00.

FOUNDER AND CHAIRMAN
Gary Scaife is the foundational visionary and heartbeat of Help R Heroes. A proud United States Navy Veteran, Gary served two tours during the Vietnam War aboard the aircraft carrier USS Ticonderoga, including operations during the historic Gulf of Tonkin incident in 1964.
Having experienced firsthand the immense friction and deep isolation that can accompany a veteran's transition back into civilian life, Gary recognized how easily a person’s sense of purpose can vanish once they step out of uniform. Decades later, witnessing a new generation of service members coming home from conflicts like Afghanistan carrying severe, invisible wounds of war and high rates of PTSD, Gary knew he had to step back onto the front lines of service.
Driven by a profound call to action, Gary founded Help R Heroes to build a safe, dedicated ecosystem where struggling heroes can navigate their decompression journeys.
"We don't just stand by. We use our hands, our minds, and our craft to give veterans a safe space to regain their right to choose, build a direction, and rediscover a life purpose that keeps them moving forward."
